WHAT IS GELATO? WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT FROM ICE CREAM?

Gelato is an Italian style frozen dessert. Similar to American ice cream in that it is made with cream and sugar, gelato uses more milk and less cream - making the product lower in butterfat content. Gelato is also churned slower while being made, making the texture different - more dense with less air. 

WHAT IS SORBETTO?

Sorbetto is an Italian frozen dessert made with pure cane sugar, filtered water and fruit. It is made with no artificial coloring as some other fruity sorbets are, and is smooth in texture making it a perfectly refeshing treat.

ARE ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN OR DF?

Yes! All of our sorbetto are both dairy free and vegan. We never use animal based stabilizers in any of our products including our gelato. 

ARE ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS GF?

Yes. All of our sorbetto is gluten free and the majority of our gelato is gluten free, depending on the flavor. For more information on each flavor's ingredients, ingredient lists are listed on the back of each pint or available when purchased on the truck!

I HAVE AN EGG ALLERGY - DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN EGGS?

Traditional, authentic gelato is not made with eggs like many ice creams are - therefore our gelato bases are not made with eggs. However, if you have an allergy to eggs you should be aware of flavor inclusions (ie-cookie pieces, cake pieces, etc). Please ask when ordering to be sure the flavor you want does not contain eggs.

WHERE IS YOUR DAIRY FROM?

We locally source our milk & cream from a family-owned farm in Myakka, Florida. This dairy comes from grass-grazed cows and is hormone free.
